Tambah baik mekanisme petrol bersubsidi, banteras penyeludupan

Perluasan PSP Mantapkan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Negara

Bernama - Isnin, 9 Dis 2019: KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Kuasa beli kelompok berpendapatan sederhana (M40) dijangka meningkat apabila mereka turut menerima faedah Program Subsidi Petrol (PSP) yang sekaligus mampu merancakkan pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

MACC investigating graft at border

The Star recently reported on petrol dealers cautioning the government that cross-industry leakages and smuggling of subsidised fuel would continue, even with the targeted fuel subsidy scheme kicking in next year.

The big price difference between Malaysia and its neighbouring countries would be the “pull factor” for smugglers, said Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia president Datuk Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz. .......read more

Price difference fuels smuggling

He said it was likely that cross-border smuggling to Kalimantan and cross-industry leakages from retail to commercial would continue.
